Our Story
Bodii was founded with the idea that everyone should be able to have the best experience when recovering from an injury.
Amateur athlete, Chris Fernandes, founded Bodii after sustaining multiple major sporting injuries and receiving negative physiotherapy experiences in both the National Health Service (NHS) and Private sector.
Bodii was founded with the idea that everyone should be able to have the best experience when recovering from an injury.
In the UK, the NHS often has incredibly long waiting times for physiotherapy appointments, while private therapy is often unaffordable for many.
With Musculoskeletal conditions accounting for over 30% of GP appointments in the UK, and over 8.75 million people in the UK affected by joint related issues, the current treatment climate is incredibly unsustainable as patients are forced to wait on average at least 6 weeks to see a licensed physiotherapist.
By using rich data and physiological insights, Bodii aims to empower users to take control of their own recovery by making recovery tracking more accessible and affordable for all patients.
Bodii Flex is designed to encourage patients to regularly monitor marginal gains by leveraging our state of the art technology to hold themselves accountable in their recovery journey.

CHRIS FERNANDES, FOUNDER
“As an aspiring footballer I knew how important rapid progress was to ensuring I would get back to playing the sport. The hardest part about my injuries wasn’t necessarily the moment it happened, it was the long emotional journey, the days where you know you need to exercise but just don’t want to. I know the feeling of not knowing how I’m progressing, and I’m certain there’s so many more like me.”
